Erica + Drake
After more than a decade together as high school sweethearts, Erica and Drake traveled from New York City to celebrate their wedding in Portland, welcoming family and friends who journeyed from across the United States and Asia to witness the beginning of their next chapter. Their Japanese and Korean heritage was thoughtfully woven into a celebration that honored both families while reflecting the joy, nostalgia, and playfulness of their love story.
Inspired by memories from their younger years, we designed a wedding filled with shimmering disco balls, delicate origami cranes, and a custom photo backdrop that invited guests to celebrate the journey they had shared since high school. Dessert became an experience of its own, featuring more than 15 Japanese, Korean, and American sweets thoughtfully sourced from different states and countries. Every detail reflected the people, places, and memories that shaped them, creating a celebration that was both deeply personal and unforgettable.
