I am a Wedding Planner. I love what I do.

As your wedding planner, I’d be your strongest advocate! I respect everyone’s time. Therefore I commit to responding to you within 2 business days (I usually reply within the same day).

I love LOVE. Love is beautiful and kind. A wedding is a celebration of love between two individuals, and their wedding should reflect that. I am passionate about the celebration of love between two happy, joyful and appreciative individuals, regardless of their skin color, the language they speak and who/what they love. I want to support the wedding they envision, their unique wedding seasoned with their personality and flavor. They should feel empowered to make decisions and have the dream weddings their hearts desire without being bound by uptight & strict rules that do not serve their highest good. I also want the celebration of love to be done in a responsible way to the environment we live in, this includes the people, the animal and the surrounding environment.

I am also an Engineer and I have a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. I am an experienced event organizer and I am a professional problem-solver. I was a license-holder and organizer of TEDx. I take pride in my work. I specialize in my engineering way to move through any issue that may come up on your special day.

A little bit more about myself: My father is illiterate and my mother finished only a 2nd grade education. I couldn’t speak English when I first set foot on U.S. soil. Few years later, I completed college - I was nominated and selected by the faculty as the Department Honoree representing Chemistry & Biochemistry department. I later earned my PhD from the nation’s top program. At the age of 15, I had to raise 3 younger siblings when both parents weren’t around. I have since learned the meaning of commitment and responsibility… I have a very loving and energetic fur baby. Snowy is a fluffy 3-year-old American Eskimo. She is also a zoomie. In our video calls, you will sometimes see her jumping up to my lap or the furniture behind. I love her. She shows me how to love unconditionally. I hope you get to meet her too.

I am fluent in English & Mandarin Chinese (普通话); and some conversational Cantonese. I believe the unique background I bring to my clients is related to my international and intercultural experience: I am Malaysian-Chinese, lived in Singapore, Malaysia, and different parts of the States. I also have a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and I am a process engineer. Therefore, I am logical, creative, organized, detail-oriented, and a professional problem-solver — critical qualities for a wedding planner.
