I'm honored to be participating in “I Am An American Live” on May 24, a powerful event hosted by The Immigrant Story in observance of Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This evening of storytelling and music highlights the diverse experiences of the AANHPI community in Oregon and beyond.

As someone who proudly embraces my Malaysian-Chinese heritage and international journey, I’m deeply grateful to stand alongside other storytellers from across Asia as we share what it means to belong, to persevere, and to celebrate our cultural identities. I look forward to connecting with the community for this meaningful evening of reflection, connection, and celebration.
